Megaworld Corporation, one of the country’s major real estate development company unveiled its newest project in its Cebu property “the Mactan Newtown” a 16 hectare prime property located in the resort and tourist zone of the city of Lapu-Lapu. The company assembled top brokers in Cebu for a product presentation in Parklane Hotel for its massive 15 storey, four tower, Japanese inspired residential condominium which will occupy a total of 1.6 hectares right at the choicest location dubbed as the “8 Newtown Boulevard”.
8 Newtown Boulevard will surely offer the best of everything within the local setting. It promises to provide a relaxed, inspiring, Zen atmosphere in the development which runs within Megaworld’s Live, Work and Play community concept. It will have four tower coded as Cluster 1, 2, 3 and 4. However, a total of 10 towers is being planned for construction depending on the take up.
The development will showcase amenities such as the Horizon Edge swimming pool, a 60 meter lap pool area which is perhaps the largest in Cebu, a rock garden, Bonzai garden, Koi Pond, Niwa Japanese landscape garden, Spa and lots of greens. This will be located in the 15th floor which is reserved as the Amenity Deck. Residential areas will start from the 6th floor boasting of only 14 units per floor. On the ground floor will house shops, retail and convenience stores and other stores which will cater to the residents needs.
Megaworld promised to bring more exciting developments in its “Mactan Newtown” property which includes BPO buildings, it is currently finishing the five storey “One World Center” building near the main entrance, while a new BPO Building “Two World Center” will soon follow before the end of the year. A world class hotel and an upscale commercial development will also soon follow in the next few years. The company further promised to bring the Eastwood, Mckinley and Newport combined feel in the Mactan Newtown project in the next few years. It will be the newest exciting destination not just in Cebu but as well as in the Vismin area.
