Philippines: Century Properties develop US$379m of residential units

Azure condo: six out of the nine-buildings have sold.
Century Properties are developing Manila residential units worth US$379.3 million, this year.
Planned projects for 2012 include a mid-rising building in Quezon City, Century City, under unit Century Limitless Inc, Canyon Ranch in Cavite City, Azure Urban Residences in Paranaque City, and Acqua Residences in Mandaluyong City. The latter three projects will include a total of 23 condominium buildings.
When completed, these projects will provide an additional 15,703 condominium and office units, as well as 955 single detached homes with a gross floor area of 1,185 million square metres.

CPG chief financial officer Jose Carlo R. Antonio confirmed that the company has already sold six out of the nine-building Azure residential project in Paranaque. Each of the towers contains 550 units.
Located on Commonwealth Avenue, the 4.4-hectare Commonwealth project is expected to cost around P4.8 billion (US$113.8 million) and provide a total of 2,000 affordable housing units.
Antonio confirmed that CPG sales have been robust and the trend is expected to continue with the new project launches, reported CBN News. CPG said it was looking at a two-fold rise in its net earnings from P866 million (US$20.5 million) in 2011.
The forecasted total cost figures for 2012 are in line with Century Properties Group Inc (CPG) total worth of investment for the previous year.
