Manila’s 1st integrated community rising

Wednesday, 10 December 2008 19:13

MANILA’S most dynamic community is steadily on the rise.

The construction of Celadon Manila by Ayala Land’s subsidiaries is progressing as planned. As the first integrated community in the city with a seamless synergy of residential, retail and BPO spaces, the 6-hectare in-city development is set to redefine urban living in the area by providing a cohesive urban ecosystem.

“These updates prove that we will deliver as promised no matter what the economic status is. Backed by our Ayala Land heritage and our track record of keeping our commitment to give Filipinos the life they deserve, Celadon Manila is very well on its way to provide an unparalleled living experience in the city,” says Gutz Gutierrez, Alveo Land’s Project Division manager for Celadon Park and Celadon Residences.

As of October 2008, Tower One of Celadon Park (condominiums) is 21 percent complete and 54-percent sold. Meanwhile, turnover is ongoing for Phase 1 of Celadon Residences (town homes) and Phase 2 is 93-percent constructed. Uptake is also good for Celadon Residences with 78-percent sold units. These two residential components offer a refreshing take on residential living in Uptown Manila combining the ease of urban essentials inside and integrated community with leisure at its core.

The outlook for the largest BPO complex in Manila by Ayala Land Businesscapes also looks positive. Convergys, one of the largest outsourcing firms in the country, has confirmed tenancy for two out of nine office floors in Vertex One, one of the two towers in the BPO center. This is about 4,300 square meters (sq m) of leasable area and the company will commence with actual operations in first half of 2009.

Aside from these, the community will also feature the retail destination Shops at Celadon. Spearheaded by the Ayala Malls Group, this new lifestyle landmark is anticipated to provide a distinctly intimate leisure experience boasting of a 2,500 sq m retail venue set against the backdrop of walkable open spaces.

“It’s business as usual for us and Manila sophisticates can expect that we are going to finish what we started with the goal of delivering the most unique living experience already in sight,” ends Gutierrez.
