ALI affiliates invest P10B for joint residential project

CEBU, Philippines - Ayala Land Inc.’s (ALI) affiliates, Alveo Land and Cebu Holdings Inc., (CHI) have introduced another residential development project in Cebu, called “Solinea”, that will incur a joint investment of at least P10 billion in the next fews for a multi-tower condominium buildings.

Solina, the second Alveo brand project in Cebu, is expected to provide posh condomium living at the heart of Cebu’s business district, at the Cebu Business Park, of which the area, including the Cebu IT Park, is now called Cebu Park District (CPD).

ALI president Tony Aquino said that the first phase of Solinea project will cover a 2.6 hectare development at the CPD that will showcase a 29-story tower with 591 units will be start-off a full resort living lifestyle at the center of Cebu’s business district.

“Our goal is to create a thriving community that combines the ease of urban living with the inherent Cebu lifestyle,” said Aquino during the project’s official annoucement.

“We envision Cebu Park District to be the new benchmark of an urban community that seamlessly complements the lifestyle ideals of the region,” Aquino added.

While the concept of a resort lifestyle is not new to Cebuanos, Aquino said Solinea offers the ideal experience of a vacation-lie residential lifestyle, set at the heart of a thriving urban enclave.

This five-year development plan, is part of the company’s series of residential-condominium projects introduced in Cebu, from its different real estate brands.

According to Aquino the first phase of the project is expected to complete by 2016, expressing his confidence that Cebu condominium market is going to sustain for long term.

From its highly strategic location to the careful selection of its resort-inspired amenities, the attention to detail that went into the project’s masterplan is evident in facet of the development, he said.

Bounded by two major access roads—Luzon Avenue on the north and Cardinal Reyes Avenue on the east—Solinea is strategically located to ensre its accessibility.

The development is just right across Ayala Center Cebu and is in close proximity to numerous recreational, dining and leisure options as it is located with the CPD.

“This will give future residents exceptional access to everything it has to offer,” Aquino added.

Aquino said the company’s intent is to continue to build following its vision to introduce people to a mixed-use and integrated living concept, where the live-work-play equity comes to life.

“We were fortunate encough to have been given the opportunity to see this vision come to fruition in our major city developments, and as we continue to work towards this, we now want to reinforce Ayala Land’s presence in Southern Philippines,” he stressed.
