The National Economic and Development Authority (Neda) Board, headed by President Aquino, has approved 11 projects, including the P25-billion North Luzon Expressway (Nlex)-South Luzon Expressway (Slex) connector project and the P43-billion Cavite-Laguna Expressway.
Secretary Ramon Carandang of the Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office said on Thursday that the Nlex-Slex project targeted for completion in 2016 and the Cavite-Laguna Expressway in 2017 were “approved in principle, pending a review of the cost.”
The Neda Board approved, too, the School Infrastructure Project for the construction of 10,679 classrooms from 2013 to 2014 at a cost of P13.1 billion.
