Johndorf to launch at least 4 projects in 2013

Sunday, December 16, 2012

JOHNDORF Ventures Corp. (JVC) is set to launch at least four new projects next year to fill the demand for more residential units, encouraged by the sales generated by its current projects in Cebu, Mactan and Cagayan de Oro City.
The projects will cover no less than 2,500 homes and would mean pouring in P1 billion in investments that would stir more economic activities in the construction sector further trickle down to local subcontractors and suppliers.
As this developed, the company announced it has taken full control in the management of Prohomes Development, Inc., a former subsidiary that it had acquired full ownership but maintained its role in developing affordable residential units.

The same team running JVC now manages Prohomes that it has taken in more now as a affordable homes than a separate entity.
JVC president and CEO Richard Lim said the company started developing subdivisions in northern Mindanao in 1986. He said he is bullish about the prospects in tapping a still large chunk of the market despite the sprouting of several projects in the metropolis.
He brushed aside speculations of a repeat of the 1997 Asian crisis, saying that the financial and banking systems in the country have since been well secured by the Central Bank and the Monetary Board.
“This is now clearly shown in the stability of the Philippine currency,” he pointed out, citing as well the growth of the service sector that has all the more made the local economy very vibrant.
Michele Chiu, JVC sales and marketing manager, said there is a growing sector of successful entrepreneurs and mid-to-high paying executives, especially in the information technology, business and knowledge sector, overseas Filipino workers, as well as expats, that JVC will pursue for existing and upcoming projects.
And there are always those in a sector who invest in and buy properties for the use of their succeeding generations, plus thousands of Filipinos abroad wanting to return and settle back in the country, she added.
With more resources to tap, JVC that has over 30 projects to date will make its presence more felt in Cebu with its ambitious projects next year that may include unique subdivision that it will formally announce soon, while continuing with the plans already laid out by Prohomes.
JVC is currently selling contemporary Asian-styled townhouse units at Portville Mactan east of Mactan-Cebu International Airport as well as studio-type nd dorm-type units for 148 Residences, whose construction beside Hotel de Mercedes on Pelaez St. near University of San Carlos is nearing completion.
Prohomes, on the other hand, is currently selling units at the second phase of its eighth subdivision, Hanniyah Homes, in Babag, Lapu-Lapu City, adding to more than 10,000 homes that the Johndorf group has built for over 25 years now.  To Learn more about our Projects, contact us at 09173236123. (PR)
