Asian-themed medium rises a good draw in Taguig city

MEDIUM-RISE condominiums continue to be a popular choice among buyers who want to locate in the Taguig area, according to major property developer DMCI Homes. And, as part of expanding its Asian theme, the property developer goes Thai with its recent launch of the Royal Palm Residences, a Thai tropical resort-inspired condominium community aimed to promote a holistic and well-balanced lifestyle.

Alfredo Austria, managing director of DMCI Homes, said the company’s continuous success in building medium-rise condominiums has proven skeptics wrong. “When DMCI Homes started building medium-rise condominiums, we were warned that people will not patronize it,” said Austria at a media briefing.

“However, we remained optimistic and we conducted a research to determine the needs of the people,” added Austria.

Based on the successes of DMCI Homes in developing properties in Taguig City, Austria said the city is a promising site as far as property development is concerned.

As far as DMCI Homes is concerned, Austria said their projects are always sold out whenever they launch a new project. “We are happy to note that many people are attracted to Taguig City,” said Austria.

Previously, DMCI Homes also completed three projects in Taguig City, namely, Rosewood Pointe, Cypress Towers and Mahogany Place III.

Rosewood Pointe is near Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) in Taguig. Cypress Towers is a three-tower high-rise community situated near the Fort Bonifacio Global city. Mahogany Place III is a subdivision with a contemporary Asian theme in the center of Taguig City.

In the same briefing, DMCI Homes’ project director Adam Trinidad said they decided to go Thai to give residents a chance to experience a relaxing ambiance.

“Its distinctive theme of Thai tropical- resort living gives residents an idyllic community where they can enjoy both suburban advantages and urban conveniences through its strategic location,” he said.

Royal Palm Residences is set on a 4-hectare high-value property of eight medium-rise and two high-rise condominiums. It will have a total of 10 condominiums with Thai names, such as Karon, Kata, Phuket, Yanoi, Nui, Pansea, Railay, Samui, Kamala and Rawai. Sizes available are 53.5-square-meter (sqm) studio unit, 53.5 sq m one-bedroom unit, 60-sq m 2-bedroom unit, the 91-sq m three-bedroom end unit and the 120-sq m three-bedroom tandem unit.

Trinidad said location is a key element for homeowners to consider Royal Palm Residences since it is easily accessible through C-5. Moreover, it is a few minutes’ drive to Bonifacio Global City and Makati central business district.

“City dwelling means living within the urban locale, but it doesn’t mean that residents have to endure its stressful consequences,” said Trinidad.
