INSTEAD of paying for a completed unit only to make renovations later on, a developer is offering clients the option to finish their own units by leaving units bare.

Camella Cebu North general manager Myra Lynn Gilig said the company noticed that some buyers had to spend more to break down walls or change railings in the units they bought.

Gilig said that with Camella’s My Home My Style program, buyers have the option to get their unit cheaper and finish it according to their preferences. She also said that it allows them to be flexible and turn two bedrooms into one big bedroom.

Prices

Gilig made this announcement during the unveiling of the Mariana model house at the Camella Talamban site last Saturday.

The unfinished Mariana unit is sold at P1.5 million while the premium unit, or the completed one, is sold at P1.8 million. The two-storey unit is 46 square meters on a 66-square-meter lot. It comes with two bedrooms and one bathroom.

The single attached units (attached to the firewall) will make up 90 percent of Camella Talamban. Gilig said they will be selling 190 Mariana units.

Gilig said the Mariana model was designed specifically for a terrain lot. The model has two versions, for the uphill or downhill terrain.

Shape

“We did not want to flatten the mountain. We just followed the shape, which is why we used a model for a terrain lot.”

She added that a separate model for the flatter areas will later be unveiled.

Gilig said the My Home My Style option is their way of helping clients get what they want. She added that they are offering units to suit all budgets.

The Lessandra Miramonte townhomes, which are just below the Camella Talamban project, sold out less than a year after the pre-selling period in 2009. The prices of these units ranged from P900,000 to P1.2 million.

Gilig said Camella has more room to grow in the northern part of Cebu. While the Camella Talamban project is four hectares, she said Vistaland, which owns Camella, owns a total of 80 hectares in Pit-os. For MOre information, contact us at (032) 3181589; 09173236123; 09228236123.
