MANILA, Philippines - What’s in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet but, in the Philippines, none smells sweeter than South Forbes Golf City, the country’s largest fully-integrated and all-themed golf resort city at the forefront of the Metro Sta. Classy Communities. South Forbes’ first residential type is called Communities where the utilities are hybrid, meaning, there is a combination of above-ground and underground electrical lines. While the type is common among most other residential developments, what is signature South Forbes is the themed character of these communities.

The leader of the pack is the Mediterranean Villas -- the first of the themed enclaves to be developed. The landscape is dotted by quaint Spanish-inspired villas whose colors are reminiscent of the Iberian coast. Beside it is the regal Châteaux de Paris which boasts of six themed gardens and a grand, palatial clubhouse.
