A top official of the company cited the booming industries of business process outsourcing (BPO), manufacturing, construction and tourism as growth drivers, particularly in Cebu.A SOLUTIONS provider and systems integrator for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) said it will focus more on its investments in the Visayas and Mindanao area.

Trends and Technologies Inc. (TTI) chairman and chief executive officer Hassan Fard told reporters in a press briefing on Friday that the company is considering 100 percent growth in Cebu this year.

He said TTI will be allocating a “substantial amount” for the expansion of their operations here, including the hiring of new personnel like design and support engineers. The company will also conduct market awareness and education programs in collaboration with their various business partners.

“We are bullish on the firm’s expansion in the regional areas, particularly Cebu. Booming industries like the BPOs have opened opportunities for companies like us to also expand our coverage,” Fard said.

He said the company has been recording a double digit growth year-on-year.

Fard said that aside from addressing various requirements of multinational companies, TTI will also be providing solutions for the growing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in regional areas.

TTI offers solutions from IP infrastructure implementation to voice, data, and multimedia convergence as well as network security and education. TTI caters to the requirements of various markets, including the BPO, financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications service providers, government, health care, hospitality and education sectors.

“We are offering solutions that would improve business operations at a lesser cost,” he said. Fard said companies need partners to help them get oriented with technology so they could use it to their advantage.

Fard said the company will also have the same level of commitment in terms of supplying the market with highly-qualified employees who would help businesses implement cost-effective solutions.

TTI currently has 40 sales and product managers and 200 technical support engineers distributed in its offices in Makati, Cebu, Davao and Vietnam.

The company has also established partnership with leading technology companies such as Aspect Software, Avaya, Cisco Systems, Computer Associates and Nortel.
