IT solutions company eyes Cebu as gateway to VisMin

CEBU, Philippines -Information, Communication Technology (ICT) solutions provider and systems Integrator firm--Trends and Technology Inc. (TTI) is expanding its reach in the Southern Philippine market, making the region as its growth driver this year.

Using Cebu as its gateway to the fast growing Visayas and Mindanao market, TTI chairman and chief executive offier (CEO) Hasan Fard announced that the company is going to put in solid investments for this particular market, in terms of adding more engineers, sales specialists, as well as strengthening its branding efforts.

The influx of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) investments in the region, and the robust sectors of real estate, tourism, manufacturing in Cebu has prompted the company to strengthen its presence here, said Fard in a press conference.

The company which was established in 1996 is one of the country’s leading solutions providers and systems integrators, serving across industries, such as BPO, manufacturing, financial institution, telecommunication, government, healthcare, hotels and education sectors.

For the real estate sector, the company provides the total package of creating an “intelligent” building infrastructure, taking advantage of its technology partners such as Avaya, Cisco, among others.

Its core competencies, include; infrastructure, collaboration, network management, security and optimization solutions, contact centers, power and environment solutions, and metal-works.

To support the growing need for these kinds of services within the Southern Philippine region, Fard said that the company will hire at least five to eight engineers to aid the growing number of clientele only Cebu operation.

In both Cebu and Davao operations, the company now maintains a total of 55 manpower support, including the sales team.

This year, Fard said the TTI will invest in this region for its client expansion program, in order to maximize the huge market for technology solutions, and system integration requirements of existing companies, as well as the new investments.

TTI also offers top notch solutions from IP infrastructure implementation to voice, data, and multimedia convergence, to network security and education.

With its comprehensive expertise, TTI has helped over 300 companies, local and global, to maintain a competitive advantage through the deployment and maintenance of IT network infrastructure system.

Although there are already a number of companies offering similar services, Fard expressed optimism that the Southern Philippine market, Cebu in particular still offers opportunity for growth for TTI.
